Topic: Help (02/20/06)
Growing up as a baby we needed help with everything, we knew nothing.
When we become a toddler we think we knew it all, we start to learn about God.
As a teenager we know we know it all, we don’t need God.
When we become a young adult we realise maybe we don’t know it all, we start to ask questions about God.
As an adult we wish we knew it all like our parents do as we seek their counsel, we start to seek God.
As the years go by we can’t believe how we ever thought we could live without God.

We constantly pray for help with everyday living.

As an elderly person we start to need help again with everything, we thank God for the people looking after us.

God is always there to help us even when we don’t need him; he is just waiting for us to ask off him.

May He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion. (Psalm 20:2 NKJ)

I liked how it takes the reader through the perspective of how we are as human beings from the beginning of our lived through until the end. It was very insightful, perhaps even more so due to it's simplicity in wording.

I liked the way you took us through different phases of life showing us how much we change our perspective. It is sad that many people never get to the point of realising how much they need God. The title seems a curious choice.

Interesting, I was wondering about the title also. Emmanuel means "God with us" I might want to work that end your article somewhere.
