How Great is God

A spirit and a sense of self made in the image of our Lord is man
The first commandment of God have no other gods in sea, air or land
God is a jealous God and wants to be first above and before all in life
Whatever you put first is your god don’t have a broken spirit as a wife

God has no equal in intelligence, power or ability look at all of creation
The intelligence to hang planets in a pattern with man in the best relation
To see the power and ability of an unequaled Father that truly loves you
Wants what’s best for you but he gave freewill to find who will be true

God has given man unmatched power and ability to do his will on earth
Free for the asking as one is doing God’s will through wisdom and rebirth
And the temptations that come your way know there is always a way out
So many like money, power and self just to name a few that lurk about

The gifts of God to help man with man planting and watering faith seeds
The seeds given to many with few understanding God meets all our needs
The Peerless helping man to help his peer through the gifts of the Spirit
With unequalled power incomparable with any because he made it

How great is God the Creator of all in this world and all outside this world
How great is God the Creator that put all things in order not just swirled
Gave those he made in his image a measure of faith and wisdom to believe
Gave those he made in his image something to believe rolled up a sleeve

There is no match for the One True Living God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost
The Creator of all things and the One that loves his creation the most

I really enjoyed this poem and the important reminder of How Great our God is! He is certainly matchless - none compare to His greatness.

One suggestion may be to shorten your lines when you are rhyming poems. As I think the sound of your rhymes would have more impact, flow and rhythm. Keep in mind I am fairly inexperienced in writing poetry, but have found this helps for me. Free verse can allow you to write longer lines.

But having said that your words are beautifully written and well expressed!
