When I was working in a deli, my boss told me, "Come On! You work too slow!. There were so many dishes. Sometimes when I work fast I broke a dish or 2, and my boss was angry with me. I am a human being. Some days especially during my pregnancy, I did not have as much energy as I had before I became pregnant.

There was another time when I was in high school. My dad drove me to school because he taught math at the same school I attended. One time I was slow getting into the car, and my Dad said,
"Come one you are so slow! Everything you do is slow!"
I felt that I lost my confidence because I was delayed in learning things in school. I did graduate from grade 12, but I was not what you would call an honor student. I was in a work program doing cleaning, and I was successful in that. I took part time courses in a community college near, and through correspondence through a college from Ottawa and Toronto. I passed those courses, and felt good about myself.

I just felt that being called "slow" was a negative word, but when we called by God to accept him then I felt I should not wait. Jesus could come back anytime. I accepted him as my savior in grade 9, and I back slid in grade 12. Now I balanced back, and I am attending church each week. I am also keeping up with the pace in the job I work at as a cleaner, and as a house wife.
