You make some great points in this lovely story. I could really relate to the idea of having a tree on my roof and how anxious I would feel. You did a fine job of showing both words of the topic words in this part. But then you switched to a totally different idea without a smooth transition. In fact, I think this could be two separate ideas. I enjoyed your subtle sense of humor on the different ways piece and peace are used, but it didn't feel connected to the tree story. Then you go into a third idea with the language being a puzzle. I did the same exact thing on my first entry. It took me some kind comments to help me realize I was trying too hard and should have focused on just one piece of the article and save the other two sections for another day. You did a great job of writing on topic. I liked how you started with a conflict too, and you give the reader something to think about, which is always a good thing.

I'm so glad Jesus is our peace!
You had a ton of inspiring thoughts -My opinion is that if you chose one and fully developed it the impact would be greater

PS I just discovered the pictoial meaning of Shalom - I LOVE that!

Blessings
This piece is action packed! You drew me in very well, I have had the tree on the roof experience so it is very relatable. There are a few distracting typos. I agree that you tackled too many things. The first section is delightful! Work on biting off smaller pieces in your articles. You have some really strong potential here with your command of language and your wit! Keep it up.
