When I started high school, I went to the library I borrowed a lot of books. I can't keep track of how many books I read. In grade 9, I spent more time reading the bible than I did any other kind of books. My next door neighbours had several Christian stories, so I read some of them, and I enjoyed them. All through the few years of high school, I borrowed novels and I read books from "Bill Cleaver.
Years later, and just before the outbreak of Covid-19, I borrowed, and read books from the church library. For example, I read fiction books from Lynn Austin, and Karen Kingsbury. I also read a few books which were written by Karen Kingsbury from the public library as well.
I also read around 17 books written by Danielle Steel, and I still do. I have not often done this, but I should read the bible more. I have a bible app on the phone. Sometimes I read a few verses of the bible when I make the time to do so. I have to keep track on how much I do my devotions.

I was interested in your thinking but I would have been greatly hooked if perhaps you'd started with something a little surprising ... say,
As a child I often feasted on Dr Suess books, especially his "Green Eggs and Ham", if you'll firgive the pun.
Anyway it's great fun writing on FW despite a splash of red ink here and there :)
