Oh boy! I start my morning by starting off on the right foot, but it does not always turn out that way. Sometimes when I am cooking breakfast, the bottom of the pan burns on the stove. When that happens, the fire alarm goes off then I have to turn it off! Well at least in the apartment, we have a an alarm that works incase of a fire.

One time I came home with a box of a few groceries, my son's shoe was in the way. At first I did not look down to see that his shoe in the way, so I fell. I really hurt my right knee! I just prayed that it was not broken, which it wasn't, but I knee was badly bruised. I could not bend my knee for 4 weeks without feeling any pain. I found it hard to get out of the tub. I screamed when I bent my knee because it was so painful!

I was worried as to whether I could go to work because of pain in my leg, but as it turned out, my leg did not bother me as I walked around the mall during my shift. I felt lucky there! Years ago when I broke my ankle as I fell down the stairs I had to take six weeks of medical leave because of that. The good that about that was I read books, played video games, and went to class at the college during Microsoft Word on the computer.

I like to start off on the right foot by praying, reading the bible, and keep safe from the covid virus.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Sometimes in our pain, or repose, it is when we discover so many things in an introspective viewing.

You have some great ideas here and you made me smile. I'd love to see you expand on some of the experiences more. Use dialog, thoughts, and body language to show rather than tell. Let your words do your exclaiming instead of using exclamation points. Save them for dialog and use sparingly. You've a good start to build upon. You definitely were on topic and you have a message to share with others along with a subtle sense of humor.
