There is an island existing in our USA, where lives a group of sadistic beings. Who knows what evil lurks in their hearts: heh, heh, hen? They were put there to ruin the brains of the American populace. That Island is called, Washington D.C.
Now, just who lives on that Island? Well, there are some very nice people who mistakenly were swept up in the frenzy of creating this “Place”. It looks wonderful on the outside, making the human soul desirous of living there. BUT, those that are insiders bubble and brew concoctions that make them giggle with great evil mirth.
One of the most hideous ideas they have come up with to destroy the human brain, is the ever unpopular “DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME”! Who in their right mind could have conceived this diabolical plot?
My understanding of this scheme is that it was started to provide the everyday worker more daylight hours to work to give sustenance to his/her employer. That way the business owner could garner more profit. Did that help the poor soul earn more money? NO. He simply received the same amount of hours with which to squeeze out a living. We have only so much daylight time to enjoy. What difference does it make if we enjoy it before or after work?
Then came the plea for the GI’s of WWII. DLST was kept alive and well, so that the GI’s would have more daylight with which they could stage more and better wars. Save lives! Well, they were killed anyway. Wouldn’t it have been better if the GROUP had left the darkness alone; at least the fighting men could have hidden in the black of night.
War has come and gone, but we still have Daylight Savings time. Now It is proclaimed that we must “save the children”. They don’t want to go to school in the dark, but they come home in the dark. Or is it the opposite? I’m really confused now. What’s the difference, they will still be in the dark. I know I am.
Cited, are just a few skillfully constructed plots to destroy the equilibrium of this frail human. My sleep pattern has been altered, making it impossible to know when to arise.
Now that my frustration has been vented, I say VOTE THE RASCELS OUT!!! THROW THEM OFF THE ISLAND
Exercise the voting privileges that you still have while there is time! Vote for new and enlightened humans that hate daylight savings time also. They certainly have my vote. Before it’s too late - get out and vote. Vote to save the light for future generations.
Whew! Now that this problem is solved its time for me to go home to bed. NO, I think it is time to get up. Wait, is it time for work or time for church? Now I’m really confused. They have succeeded - they have driven me crazy!! It worked, I’ll never be sane again! We will be slaves forever to that GROUP and Day Light Saving’s Time. HA HA HA HA .

I don't think the island population wants to change because it seems to give them more time to come up with strange ideas and also more time to just stand around and talk about things that might need to be changed but won't agree with the other half because it would make them look like they were agreeing with the enemy.
Great way to express your thoughts.
I think I also heard that daylight savings was put into place to give farmers more daylight in which to harvest their crops.
