think of how we can
conjure, connect, control,
the ever fluid bankroll;
our chests we beat
when we navigate the odds
and make the ends meet!
However, there are those who
have no bankroll which
they can control; some have but silver
and if they are blessed, faith in a God
Who is never pressed, distressed,
or wondering how ends can come together.
Once I had need of six dollars
but I had only three, I said to myself,
"I know that God meets my needs,"
I left for the store to buy milk and bread
thinking reasonably in my head
that I would find a sale on day old bread.
As I was walking the path to get to my car,
be surprised by what happened to me:
there in the grass lay three one dollars bills,
lying together, but not crumpled or crushed,
rather spread like a fan,
placed there for me by an angel's hand.
God is the One Who makes ends meet!
Of course He expects us diligent to be,
not indulgent or wasteful, but to trust in Him,
Who can get money to us by angels or men.
David said, "I've never seen the righteous
go hungry, nor his seed begging for bread."
Psalm 37:25

When I was a little girl I remember this same thing happening to my mom. She needed $50.00 to pay a bill and we went to the store to get some groceries, she pulled out the shopping cart from the many there and right there in the cart was a $50 bill folded up small.
She was praising God and thanking Him all the way home for answering her prayer.
Our God is an Awesome God!
Your poem is a beautiful testimony of how when we put our faith in Him He meets our end every time!
