As you go forth into the harvest,
carrying His heartbeat in yours,
May you also carry His love
Wearing it on your sleeves
Loud and proud,
A beacon of light for the lost and lonely,
Guiding them to the Light of the world.
May you strap His strength around you like the wings
Of eagles…
You shall run and not be weary,
You shall walk and not faint.
May you wear the ornament of grace,
Drawing the blemished and soiled into His fold,
With His Beauty, for there’s none like the Him.
May His word be your backpack of sustenance,
Your daily bread,
Your floatation device in times of storms and turmoil.
And to sweeten the journey, carry the perfume of joy,
Even a little drop goes a long way.
As you go forth into the harvest,
Trekking through valleys, mountains and plains,
Through narrow streets of brokenness,
May you leave beautiful foot-prints of His love
Leading many feet to the feet of Jesus.
