Our Lord is glorious! If we could ever get excited about any person in the universe, He is the Person! He is the kind of Person that we write song about, the kind we sing great songs in His honor. He is worthy of new songs and old song and spiritual, emotional songs. He has won a great battle – O death, where is your sting. O place of the dead, where is your victory. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” (1 Corinthians 15:57) My heart sings a song of Victory!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth! (1 Chronicles 16:23)
“For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” (Romans 8:22) It groans with the degradation and limitations caused by a race of sinful human beings. All the earth is eagerly anticipating the day when it will be released to be everything God created it to be. My heart sings a song of glorious beauty!
I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High. (Psalms 7:17)
My friends tell me “God is God all by Himself.” “For He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:22-23) Everything that any person or any group of people, or any thing needs is in the Person of Jesus Christ. My heart sings a song of adoration to the King!
