Since Jesus gave His life too die.
A ransomed lamb for all who sin.
Who seek forgiveness deep within.
Beaten, broken, spat upon.
Many stripes will seal the bond.
Healing for the ones in need.
Through His life they will succeed.
Without a word He suffered all.
Without a word He took the fall.
His body language saved the day.
His resurrection paved the way.
Speaking volumes silently.
Giving life, all men to free.
We must take His gift of love.
And not away, His body shove.
We write our books with words unspoken.
Some have joy and others broken.
All will speak both loud and clear.
Silently the eyes will hear.
When you speak in waking hours,
Do you show joy or bitter sours?
Does your expression give insight,
That Jesus is the God of Light?
Will people look at you and know,
That life lived big is just a show?
Superficial at its best.
Your life reflecting a mere jest.
I pray dear Lord my body’s choice,
Will very loud proclaim Your voice.
Words of Truth may I proclaim.
Without a word your Holy name.
