My Thoughts of You were
relished and digested with
full immunity. For As every
tidbit did meet its end, a new
Thought did envelop my mind.

I began to think what life
would be like without Your
words to ponder over, what
would move my mind to think!
What would engage my thoughts
Of this mind of flesh that I hold
so dearly.

For surely my demise would be
very rapid and my flesh would
be handcuffed to a grave, that
would be ever forgotten as
there would be no one to mourn.
For all would share the same fate…
If You did not exist.

I did bemoan this very fact, that I would
be nonexistent without Your Spirit, and
there would be no true meaning to
my life.

For without a creator, there would be
no loving essence that might
guide me from my humble beginnings.
Without a taste of Your Spirit
there would be no need for
fulfillment In my life.

I would never know how to fill
the emptiness that I would find,
for without Your grace is not my life
totally null and void?

Yet by Your grace I am able to grasp
what is alive around me, embracing everything
that I touch and feel, even understanding
the life that is found in living words,
for even rocks and pebbles have a voice
that is heard by… Your ears.

Upon thinking this I realized that I am
only a small part of creation, but one which is so
greatly loved by the Creator, smelling
every enriching aroma of life in this
world even if it is… so temporal.

And I pressed my mind thinking
of a way to address what I
am truly not worthy of. That
which I could not have ever
earned with anything that I
could do myself.

But by the Grace of God
I was put to death with
a benevolent Lord, whose
love is more vast than
a thousand oceans and
much deeper than the
most deepest of seas.

Upon thinking, these words came
to me, " I think a thought
Of loving you, a thought
I will not forget, for it was
a thought of Your warm tenderness
and of Your awesome loveliness".

And I am able to create and think
because of Your ever creating
Spirit. And now though I died in
Christ, I am made alive
In Him, to share His eternal life,
thinking now in eternal ways,
living a shared life with Him
who gave me life, allowing me
to always live to the fullest
within His gift of love.
