Sitting in the meadow, does not stand a lone.
Is the glass half empty, or half full
Tis asked of the drinking glasses
Is the eye evil, or the eye single
Tis asked of the soul’s glasses
The eyes are the heart’s windows
Shall be stained glass or tainted
If stained glass, the light shall invade
All the shadowy intrusions of this world’s shade
As the dandelion seeds go swirling and circulating,
Words do too, some liberating, others strangulating
So the eyes must be trained to behold
And discern between goodwill and gold
Keeping in mind, that as the yellow dandelion
Was first dandelion snow
That God’s Word of truth too,
Will produce more than purest gold
And whenever our wandering eye’s roam
Understand that this is truth’s utmost foe
So through our eyes, see Father’s hand
And believe He knows the grand scheme of all things
And as the yellow Dandelion
Sitting in the meadow, does not stand a lone
Nor do we, who look upon God.
