But beware of ambiguity which, when considering word craft, conveys real potential for play. Under certain circumstances however ambiguity—whether crafted or actual—can lead to unwanted consequences. That is to say, the crafty soul attempting to defy curfew will most likely not dodge dire consequences with an explanation such as, “Oh, I thought you meant 10:00 a.m.; I had no idea you meant 10:00 p.m.” That sort of crafting will surely sink the curfew dodger, leaving the poor deluded soul sadly grounded, which would not be so had he been better grounded concerning the rules. Perhaps it was merely an oversight that obviously now requires greater oversight (as they use “oversight” in the Congress). Then consider the tech writer; liability issues are likely lurking in the murky waters of ambiguity. But what of the tech writer on holiday, the one “gone fishin’ so to say.”
Ambiguity makes a great playground for word craft.

Some of the sentences in your second paragraph were a bit complex, and difficult to follow.
I can tell that we're kindred spirits--always looking for a new angle on a word or phrase. This was fun.
