A selfish man is one who doesn't forgive nor pray for others, neither does he trust any one- not even God his creator. He only gives glory to God during his successes but not in his pains and or failures. He lives only by the princiiples of luck instead of faith.
Selfishness leads to unhappiness, which in turn lead to fulfillment. True happiness is found in living for and giving to others. Someone rightly said: "nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care". You can never get on the broad way to greatness until you follow the narrow path of service and true and faithful worship to God..
"A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on himself". (Prov11:17, NIV). There's no way a selfish man can enjoy his lif. instead of him getting blessed by wht he's giving out, he's becomes stagnant and frustrated by what h gets. Selfishness is not a pleasant thing. Christians shouldn't be caught in the web of it. Our Lord wasn't selfish; we shouldn't.
On the cantrary, unselfishness is a costly -but indispensable- choice. You can't be looking at the mirrorand be unselfish. How can you give out waht you're still holding on to? All you need to do is not to continue waiting until God's cloud of love instantaneously make you but for you to make others your priority.
Don't hesitate to sow seeds of goodness and kindness into other people's life today, for you never can say what harvest it will bring. Always remember, your deposits (into others' lives) todaydetermines what you will withdraw from in future.
