It can be a girl with red hair and freckles or a blonde or a brunette.
It can be a boy who just shows up to help when you need it.
It can be a furry friend that barks and plays chase or a kitty that cuddles.
It can be a horse of any color who listens to your every word, then takes you on a wonderful ride with the wind in your hair.
They come in all sizes, all ages, all genders, all colors to enrich your life and make you better.
Some you know only for a short time, others are with you for life. Whatever their season, they add beauty and meaning that only they can bring.
They fill your world with awe and inspiration, guide you with wisdom and care, pull you out of a rut to enjoy adventure, and best of all, they share your life as companions. Friends are a gift from God.
