Praise You for life-giving rain,
Without it everything soon is under strain,
Thank You for meeting our primary needs,
For plants that come with their own seeds,
Your love for us is quite clear,
Meeting our needs and drawing us near,
There’s nothing like Your life-giving rain,
It shows Your love is much more than plain.
Your love flows like a week long rain,
Feeding the world with well watered grain,
Your forgiveness grows like a wintery wind,
Giving freedom to us who know we’ve sinned,
Nothing in this world compares,
To knowing our Creator who really cares,
Knowing that You hear our every prayer,
And that Your Holy Spirit is always right here,
Praise You for life-giving rain,
And Your Son’s blood that covers every stain,
It’s more powerful than the strongest storm,
Your love and forgiveness is far beyond the norm.
