What is this thing called Faith?
Scripture tells us time and time again
Romans 14:23
Helps us to see
To do anything without faith is sin.
Hebrews 11 says it’s the substance of things hoped for
The evidence of things not seen
But if that was all to it
Like Nike we’d just do it
And we’d listen when we hear…JUST BELIEVE!
To just believe is not the end of it all
There are other things that you must do
But don’t give up hope
The Lord knows you can cope
If you use faith which is tried and true
There are some very important variables
Involved in a lifestyle of faith
You’re not supposed to waiver
Your faith must remain stable
And sometimes you have to patiently wait…
A confession should be made while you’re walking in faith
It can be spoken or recited in song
Put laziness to bed
Because without works faith is dead
So being told to “just believe” is just wrong
Example. If you need money and are looking for a job
Because funds are running low
Get on the net
Don’t shrink back
This is the “works” part (just so you know)
Try all the popular search engines
Monster… Indeed… Simply Hired…
Of course you might stay
On the computer all day
Having faith doesn’t mean you don’t get tired
It’s important to speak the right Words
You can have whatsoever you say
Confess “I believe…I receive….”
Mark 11:23
Speak scripture, out loud, every day
You shouldn’t abort your walk of faith
Even if a job you want gets filled
Don’t give up on it all
Another employer will call
You can have the job of your dreams, it’s God’s will
You don’t have to forfeit your passion
To do what is your heart’s desire
Go volunteer
In the meantime, my dear
For your initiative, you might just get hired
God will not let your efforts go unnoticed
If you have true faith in the Son
He didn’t die for nothing
But so that you could have something
(Whatever it is) The battle has been won!
As for the job, just keep searching
Using the search engines, apply for jobs, then wait…
But it’ll all be in vain
If you don’t do this one thing…
