Of a diamond and its nice shine
Friends are much more special though
And a great deal more divine
Blessed to have one true special friend
Who lights up your heart with delight
Someone who will gently encourage you
Whenever you feel stressed or uptight
My friend has done this often for me
And for so long has tirelessly been there
During the past colorful twenty years shared
We continue to be a great pair
True, loyal and faithful forever friends
Is the treasure of life God gives to us all
He sent friends to us who extend their hand
Helping us to stand when we fall
Friends give us strength to get through the day
When we think we have none
A friend is there to remind us in times of trial
That Jesus is the only healing one
Friends sprinkle us with love helping us to grow
Loyally keeping the confidences we share
They are the special people who we know
Loving us selflessly showing they care
Friends are the dazzling colorful rainbow
We see after life’s torrential rain
Always knowing what time we need them
Especially when we’re in pain
No matter what you have to say
They always take time to listen
God’s bright light radiates through them
Like an incandescent diamond they glisten
Magnificent friendship with Jesus in the center
And both of us kneeling down to pray
Seeking Him for direction as we continue
To journey onwards living for Him each day
Jesus is the very best friend we have
Together we join and worship our Lord
Friends gather to share all that God gave
Found in His written living Word
Wonderful words of life that whisper
Hope and love into our lives
In the magnificent presence of Jesus
Our true friendship thrives
Held in the beauty of a diamond is a friend
One friend who is priceless to say the very least
When Jesus brings a circle of friends together
So many spectacular blessings are released
Diamonds are not a girl’s best friend
Even though they hold appeal
Where friends are also like diamonds
Is some are fake and some are real

I'm not the best one to give advice on poetry as I really struggle with flow and rhythm, but some verses seemed to flow easier than others. The last stanza is beautiful, but I stuttered just a tad while reading it. Just tweaking it a little would make it easier to read. Try something like this:
Friends are also like diamonds Some are fake and some are real
Overall, I think you did a fantastic job. The message is beautiful and I could really feel your emotions jump off of the page.
