I feel your loneliness.
You probably feel you’re all alone
And your life’s a mess.
You can feel so helpless
Not knowing what to do.
All you have to deal with
You struggle to get through.
I used to fight those demons
I fought them all alone.
I thought it was not worth it,
I cried a soulful moan.
Lost in what to think or do
I wander here and there
Looking for the God I knew
And wondered if He cared.
Then one day He touched me
Showing me the way.
He lifted me and healed me
He listened while I prayed.
Please don’t quit your trying.
He will lend a hand.
He is someone who loves you.
For you He has a plan.
So we can join together
And share right to the end.
We are blessed with His love
He is our mutual friend.
For God so loved the World
He gave His only son.
Who’s giving up His life
To heal us one by one.

One of the things I struggle with when I write poems is having the right rhythm. I noticed some lines had 5 syllables and others had 9 or 10. It helps me to count them out on my finger, but I've been told there are programs on the internet that will do it for you.
Rhythm aside, this was absolutely beautiful and had chills running down my back. There are so many lonely, sad people out there that will be inspired by your words.
