Why then do we have no time? When asked: “How are you?” the answer comes without hesitation “Busy”.
Isn’t it time we “stop and smell the roses”?
Our world has become a fight for survival, to stay in the game called life.
We, as humans, became our worst enemy.
We want it now: instant gratification.
God says there is a time and place for everything. We say we don’t want to wait: “What if there is no tomorrow?”
Slowly but surely we are turning back to our roots. We are in search of our humanity.
The way we are “put together”. We go in search of nature, the sun, a place where we can slow down, find our roots.
Time waits for no one if we don’t keep a balance in our lives.
We are intricately made. Our soul the anchor, our thoughts who we are and our life belongs to God, our Saviour and Redeemer.
Live then for today. The way our Abba, Father intend for us to live.
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow looks after its own. Today is a gift from God.
Use today to work, play, enjoy and make a difference in another fellowman’s life.
If there is pain, go through it with the knowledge you are not alone. Jesus is near – in us, with us, always ready to step in to soften the blow.
Allow it, hand it over unconditionally – He is our Healer.
So, even if time waits for no one, you know, today is lived to the full.
After all it all belongs to our Creator!
