Why is it I always get the worst seat available? No matter where I travel to, I’m either stuffed way in the back behind everyone else, left standing in the aisle as a target for the less than observant, or shown to what is commonly referred to as the “nose bleed” section, only to be forgotten by those I am traveling with. Where’s the respect? Don’t I deserve at least a little? Everybody deserves at least a little respect.
I’ve always considered myself a hard worker. I take pride in my work. I’m strong, reliable, and have a great knack for organization. Sure, I may have been around longer than most, but what do those other guys have that I don’t? So they can get around a bit easier, I do okay. I always manage to arrive around the same time as everyone else. I may require a bit more assistance than others may, but that’s no reason for all of the complaints I have to listen to. People have gotten soft. I travel just as much as they do, sometimes more! You won’t hear me complaining. Although, there have been times….
Oh great, more travelers. That means I’ll be moving again. I was hoping this trip wouldn’t be so cramped. Being shoved around and stepped on can really get old. I’ll probably be relegated to some cold dark corner. Just once, I would like to go first class!
I know… I know, you’re saying, “but what about all of those great places you get to see while traveling?” Have you seen some of the places I have to stay in? Dark, dank & smelly. I've experienced it all.
Don't look at me that way. Trust me, you wouldn't last a day traveling with me. It's a scary world out there. I mean, good grief...
give a suitcase a break... and for pete's sake, watch where you’re going!
