Topic: Spring (the season) (07/23/09)
Spring is a season of life, new beginnings. In nature we see the perfect example of new life during Spring. Blossoms on the trees, flowers blooming, new green leaves on the trees and the grass is luscious and green. There is love in the air and even joy to spare. There is a unique vibe that no other season has. The season Spring reminds me of Jesus, the Giver of New Life.

Spring is a wonderful season, a season that makes the songs that the birds sings more lively, it is a season that makes our hearts warm and provoke a change in us. It creates an expectancy in every living thing. It brings joy and laughter to children because they feel alive again. All creation rejoices every Spring.

Joh 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is LIFE everlasting. In Him we live, breath and move. Jesus is the Lily of the Valley, lilies grow in Spring time and they are beautiful. Jesus also says that He will take care of us, just as He takes care of the birds and the fields.
Mat 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mat 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

In John 3 the Word teaches us that we must be Born Again. When you are Born Again you receive a New Beginning, it is Spring in your life again. A new Inner man arises in you, one that lives to please the Living God. For the first time in your life you can really appreciate the seasons and the valuable lessons you can learn from each season.

I can remember the day that I gave me heart to the Lord and the wonderful warmth that filled my being. It was as though I just walked into a ray of sunshine. What a feeling! Everything smell, taste and sound different somehow. You feel alive, in love with the one and only true God. It is a different kind of “in love” feeling. One that is much more intense and deeper.

Life is precious nothing can replace a life. Life is a gift from God and it is so valuable to Him that He gave His Only Son so that we can have Eternal life. Enjoy your Eternal life and spend it praising His Name because He is worthy of our Praises. Sing and dance before the Giver of life and make a joyful noise unto Him. He is the Lily of the Valley, the Bright Morning Star. He is the fairest of ten thousand to my soul. To God, the giver of all seasons I want to bring my Praises.

I think you did a wonderful job in describing God's love and our love for Him; however, I thought the transition from you speaking of spring into the information on salvation, etc. was not a smooth one. Both parts of your writing, however, were very good.
