Topic: Beach (07/04/05)
Hot sand between our toes
Salt water gushing by our nose
Children laughing as Dad rows
Lying on a blanket trying to dose

Seagulls singing low in the sky
Scorching heat as people swim by
Shells, sandcastles, and a dragonfly
Slowly the evening draws Nye

Thank You Lord for vacations gone by,
and the glory of Your bright blue sky.
Praise You for senses to enjoy memories,
Superb power & majesty of your great seas.

Thank You Father for our families and abilities,
Your Amazing Grace and Tender Mercies,
Wisdom and knowledge of your immense Love,
Sensing Your Presence from so far above,

Wonderful Gifts and Fruit of Your Spirit,
We reach for righteousness but can’t get near it,
Things seen, unseen, and out of our reach,
All Glory to You for our day at the Beach


1 Thess 5: 16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

It makes sense to praise God before, during, and after our day at the beach. There is super natural power in praise.
