Lord please grant me patience….but…
…please show the children how important it is for them to obey me and wake-up when I ask them. Please give them understanding so that when I help them with their homework this evening they understand it the first time, after all I have a lot of things to do.
…please give my friend a repentant heart so that she can see how she has hurt me. Could you also help her to be on time today at the carpool.
…I am running a little bit late right now, after all the kids woke up late, and my friend was bit tardy, so could you give us lots of green lights, and light traffic.
…I have to pick-up the kids from school soon, so could you help my line at the Grocery Store go quickly, (hey that was quicker than I had planned, I was reading the article in the magazine stand).
…the house would look so much nicer if we could fix-up a few things, please let that loan go through, and give us a dry summer so that the contractors will be able to work everyday
…help my husband to come from work on-time today. I have had a busy day and could really use a break, please help him to see how much I need him here.
Lord why are you not giving my your patience?
