defined as the capacity, habit, or fact
of being patient. So after looking
up patient, it defines it as bearing
pains and trails, calmly without
complaint.
Yeah, right! Apparently, Webster
didn't have to raise two teenage girls
the same age and a four year old boy.
Now I am here to tell you, with the
girls, what one didn't think of the
other did. If they weren't conspiring
with each other to get what they
wanted, they were fighting.
Then you add in my four year old, a
walking tell it all.
I actually heard a conversation between
the two girls one time that they were
going to tie bricks to his legs and
throw him into our lake. Not really,
but they throught it was a really good
idea since I seemed to know everything
they planned. They forgot that mothers
have eagle ears also. Which be the way
was the name they gave me later on.
I think Webster should have defined
patience as this: Trails, tribulations
and pain that can be over come by
seeking God.
When I think back all the times I
tried to handle things on my own, I
usually failed. When I reached out for
God's help and mercy, He was always
there for me. Maybe He left me there
with my problems for a little longer
then I thought He should. But when the
answers came, I would be totally
amazed from the things I learned, just
by waiting and listening for Him to
hear my plea and give me His answer.
So when your patience is running
thin, and you can't find the
answers yourself, try asking God.
Whether it be children, your job,
your spouse or whatever the case may
be. God will be there for you.

In general, it's best not to start with a definition, especially of a common word that's generally known to your audience. And I wonder if you typed your entry directly into the submission box, hitting "enter" at the end of each line? Try typing it in your word processor, with spaces between paragraphs (like this comment), then just copy and paste into the submissions box.
It'll save you a lot of work, and your piece will look more story-like. Keep submitting--I look forwad to reading more of your stuff!
So many new writers start off with "Webster's Dictionary" type entries that it really is a good practice to shy away from. That said, it didn't seem as worn-out in your work. You managed to pull it off.
"trails" slipped by instead of "trials" - that happens.
Keep writing.
May God bless.
Sincerely,
