“Lord, I’ve got to get to church”, “ Maybe, they’ll tell me something there. “I’m so tired, …I’m doing the best I can, alone. I miss the old me, the one that you liked. The sanctified me, I used to hear from you. I can’t talk to you know, you don’t trust me. I’m a liar. Love you, yes, but obviously I don’t trust you. I wouldn’t be here if I did. “THINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME BECAUSE OF ME”. “REPENT FOR IDOLATRY, I AM THE LORD.
The room settles. I feel remorseful yet renewed. “I’ve wasted time praising my mistakes. They’ve had more of me than the one who shed his blood for me. I repent. I am not God, my destiny does not belong to me.
