I saw a crowd near home, I was drawn to them alone,
They wore long gowns in white, a strange and peculiar sight,
This spectacle in front of me, brought many questions indeed,
"You can't walk out like you walked in!" Said the preacher man,
"Today, they're burying this man alive!
There was young and old, weak, strong, and bold,
The preacher man said, "Your seeing miracles, dear friend!"
"It is faith to 'just believe', follow Jesus and receive!"
My heart ached, knees weak, and I couldn't speak,
As I saw a dead man walk out from the water alive.
As the crowd sang,
"I'm going down to the river my Lord, I'm going to be buried alive!
I want to show my heavenly Father, the man I use to be is finally died!"
Everything in me didn't understand what was happening,
I believed, but I never had anyone to help me see,
This day the Lord, had come to knock on my hearts door,
"You can't walk out like you walked in!" Said the preacher man,
"Today, they're burying this man alive!"
