Topic: Christian Baptism (10/18/07)
The administration of Baptism is vitally important because it joins the believer to The Messiah. Also we make a confession of our faith that we have in Yahshua (Jesus).

Water baptism symbolizes the union of Yahshua and the believer because of the separation of the old way of life refers to the burial of Yahshua which took away the sins of the world. His resurrection symbolizes us having a new life because He rose.

Romans 6:3-4 says: verse 3.)"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yahshua The Messiah
(Jesus Christ) were baptized into His death? verse 4.) Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as The Messiah was raised up from the dead by the glory of The Father, even so we should walk in the newness of life". KJV.

II Corinthians 5:17 says "Therefore if any man be in The Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new". KJV. Since we have accepted The Messiah as our personal Savior, a change has taken place. We are no longer bound to the sinful nature. We are free in Him (Yahshua). The places we used to go we don't go anymore and the things we used to say and do we don't say and do anymore. The reason being is because The Messiah have come into our lives and washed all of those terrible habits away and gave us a new mind to think and do the right things that are pleasing in His sight. We can truly say as individuals it is no longer I, but The Messiah which lives in me. He causes us to serve Him by going to church, reading our bibles, helping others gain knowledge about The Almighty.

This new life reflects Yah's (God's) nature. I Peter 1:16 says " Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy". KJV. To be holy we have to separate ourselves from actions, influences and people that will hinder our progress in Yah (God). We are to keep our minds stayed and steadfast on Yahshua (Jesus) the bible and the things that are necessary for our spiritual growth.

A spiritual change is a life worth living that enable us to be used by Yah.

There are a lot of good points and thoughts in here.

Try starting out with a story of some sort to connect the reader, and then go into the verses.

Good job. Keep writing.
