Faith Writers Challenge. Worship (Corporate)

Worship. The word alone, to me means, one individual willing to give thanks and praises to our Lord God. No matter the day, no matter where you are, no matter whom you are with. Worship, to me means acknowledging God for no reason other than expressing your love for God. Worship for me means freeing my mind, body and spirit. Allowing my whole self, even in the flesh to be different from everyone around me. Worship to me means being the heavenly creature God created me to be. It means being the best I can be for that is what God wants from me. Worship to me means being obligated to one self, even as sinners to be able to work in the image of God. Worship means making sure every word you say represents our father God. It means acting in the interest of God. It means spreading possitivety and love to everyone you meet all the days of your life. Corporate is a word I would not normally use with the word worship. Praise God I have dealt with this issue first hand as a business owner and child of Christ with the majority of my clients being Jewish. As a child of God, I knew my mission in this life was to let people meet the God I know. I am blessed today. God has placed me with his children to represent him. With Love, hugs and kisses, encouragement and faith I am able to house Gods children in a positive environment. I am able to love Gods children unconditionally without sacrificing my self. I am able to guide Gods children with the hope that they can change the world and make it a better place for all children. Thank you Jesus. My students come in with the discipline from their parents, their goals are to be just like them, and they are taught at a young age to do well in school, they are forced to participate in many extra curricular activities because it will look good on their college applications. I wonder do their parents ever ask them what their dreams are. I wonder are they ever told by their parents to live your life for yourself, be happy and contribute your best qualities to the world. I wonder, because after a few years with me at my dance academy my students begin to express themselves as individuals, they no longer recite what their parents say, they are able to express they have a dream. As an African American business owner I am able to say my success is because of my ability to be a child of God. God’s children recognize this spirit. They are shown that someone, God accepts them unconditionally and loves them no matter what that they can let go of the pressures of the ones they love most, their parents and live their own lives. Praise God. I took the time to study the Jewish religion. They basically believe in God as Christians do, they just don’t acknowledge Jesus like we do. We have a lot in common. I wanted to be able to speak of my lord Jesus without threatening their religion as much as they celebrate Judaism. Praise God I have accomplished this. To date all my students will say thank you lord while we dance, when my husband and I recite the lords prayer, my Jewish students say their Hebrew prayer. Praise God. I am so proud of this. So to me Worship, corporate is what I have prayed for and am able to do. Praise the lord in my work environment even with a different religious culture of clients I am able to praise the Lord. I hope this makes my God smile. I hope this opens the door for all Gods children to worship together. Worship. Worship. Amen.
