Topic: Confused (08/16/07)
There was no topic last week because God called her into His Heavenly Conference Halls. She soon learned that although God has us in these conferences for hours, days, and lifetimes of lessons and workshops and such things that conferences hold, each one has it’s own special theme. This time she would see how her recovery time could decrease the deeper she trusted the Master Rabbi.

Last week, everything inside her was knotted with confusion, pain and frustration. Her stomach felt twisted, and heart burned with a deep, longing ache that could not succeed to make sense of anything. She wanted so desperately to understand why, to know what next, to figure out the problem, to fix it completely and permanently. She wanted so much to make it all better herself.

But He drew her closer to Him and caused her to grow in leaps and bounds in Him. Quick recovery is guaranteed to those who exercise their faith and trust in Him, this she soon learned. The closer she stayed to Him, the better she could handle life. It did not erase the pain or frustration. But He assured her – her burdened aching heart did not need to understand, it did not need to know what next, or why, or figure out how to fix the problem. She couldn’t fix any of the frustrations on her own. Her lessons this week stretched her twisted heart – it a takes a continuing, developing faith and trust in Him and Him alone.

This week His lessons of truth were growing in her little heart. Cast your burdened heart upon Him, and know that He will sustain you. Trust in His understanding and His wisdom completely, and lean not on what you deem to understand – only He can guide each new step. Our God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, and only through that steadfast exercise of trust in Him, will we ever find His quick recovery.

I really like the voice of this piece. The first paragraph was a bit confusing to me - but otherwise, I was absolutely engaged throughout this entry. Keep writing!
