I cry my tears wishing I could get away.
Standing in a shadow like I ghost I wait.
I’m calling you with no words left to pray.
So overwhelmed
So without hope
Ready to despair
Ready to give up.
Don’t want to keep trying when nothing is right.
Don’t want to keep fighting when I can’t see the light.
I’m slipping further with every second into the mist.
I never thought I could hurt like this.
My heart aches
My soul pains
I’m dying
I’m dying again.
I’m so tired of holding on after holding on.
So tired of hoping it’s the end of the storm
So tired of spirits crushed time and time again.
Of seeing my dreams as only my dreams.
Ready to give up
Ready to give in
I need You
Again.
Another day’s ending and I have no hope left
Too afraid to lay down in my bed
Too afraid that I won’t be able to last
That I’ll fall apart in this aftermath.
So weary
So weary
Loosing this grip
Love is a dream.
I’m a reservoir of broken hearts and broken dreams.
Dripping out the cracks and trickling through seams.
Just cry here with me and feel my pain as Your own.
I think I’ll die if I know I’m alone.
Just sit
Just be here
Cry with me
Let us drown in tears.
I know You have hope but mine is gone.
I’d trust in You but my faith’s just too worn.
I know You had great things in store for me.
But Your on a hill and I’m in a valley.
Cry with me
Just give me love
I can’t die
You won’t let me give up.
Amen.
