Jehovah is the creator of Melody
Music reverberates in heaven
Angels singing Holy, Holy, Holy
Twenty-four elders join bowing in worship
Songs, hymns, music for the spirit is great leaven
Giving honor to His Lordship
Here on earth, the heaven is portrayed
Man, animals, birds alike
Sing melodious songs to the King
The nightingale with the sonorous tune
The cacophony of the animals in praise
Acknowledging the love of their creator.
Jubal initiated the flow of instruments of music
Several feasts and festivals, Passover, Tabernacle, Jubilee
All times of celebration, singing and dancing
Beyond the chants of the mystic
God’s melody sanctifies and is satisfying
Horns, keyboards, strings, drums, percussion and all
Assisting the vocal chord; God’s creation!
David for his talent, was sought after by kings
King Saul desired sweet melody
To be made calm from anger and agony
Soothing frayed nerves with horn and strings
With great and beautiful symphony
Many a time danger averted!
Like father like son, in Song of Songs
King Solomon God’s Love depicted
In spite of his love diverted!
Oh! The beauty of lyrics well compose’
But great the danger of Music without purpose
Manifesting the duality of life, of good and evil!
Seek to please God and not the Devil
Man must desire the right melody
Avoiding unnecessary orgy
Melody amiss means missing the divine missive
Former archangel Lucifer was adept
Still singing to people’s death
There is no rock but the Rock of Ages
No rap but avoiding the trap of Hades
No Soul or gospel but the saving of souls
No reggae but overcoming the Nation’s rage
No Jazz but joyful noise to ‘Jah’
And no classical music but the Ancient of days
Like God’s angels and the elder’
Let’s sing victory songs
To His glory, honor and power
Our praises, worship, as sweet smelling savor
God is pleased and inhabits our praises
Oh! The power of music!
‘T was melody that ushered our Savior
Triumphant into Jerusalem with great honor
‘T was melody that brought down Jericho’s wall
‘T was melody that re-empowered David
From our praises, for our sake enemies fall
Melodies make us stand tall.
The Holy Spirit inspires the good
Demonic spirits do create the evil
Composition, melody comes from creativity
The nature of the creator and our Lord
Bringing to birth what never existed
Sweet melodies that Light up the darkness
The perverted and corrupt world,
Joy Springs forth from depressed hearts.
