she stumbled and faltered
But she knew You were there
She held your hand and walked on
No move she took without Your approval
No step without Your assuring smile
Hand in Hand with Her master, it was a beautiful walk indeed
But all beautiful things don’t last forever…
Round the corner and she was gone
My dear friend gone forever
To walk those golden streets with thee.
It really hurts dear heavenly Father…
Though we know she’s safe and glad with thee,
Though we know we’ll meet some day
This parting is really painful the wound is still fresh
I’ll ask thee why when we meet some day
Till then teach me to walk with thee…
Close to thee, looking up to thee, serving thee
Like my dear precious friend…dear Lord I miss her so.
