Oh Lord where do I start?
Father the house is a mess! Mother is stressing and I just haven’t got the energy to either tidy up or solve the stress problem!

Lord give me strength to continue, give me the right thoughts and action to solve the stress that she is under, and the energy to keep things tidy and respectable for her.

The Lords reply… so you wanted to be an executive director of this company, you call a multi functional home, well you got what you asked for, you are the executive director of a multi functional home!
How ever this role has responsibilities, which goes with the territory, but now you want me to solve your problems for you?

Yes Lord I cannot cope any more, I have no strength and my thoughts and actions are engulfed with all the destruction that is going on around me.


The Lords reply
Very well, I will give you strength and the will to solve the stress problem.

Soon after my mind started to clear and the thoughts started as to how I was going to solve the problems and relieve the stress on Mother.

Firstly I had to claim back the roll of leadership that the Lord assigned to me, and then set some rules that could be kept with out to much fuss and confusion!
To do this I had to speak to our son about his girl friend and that relationship, out lining some rules and moral standards that were now to be upheld in this household.
This of course did not go down to well with the other spouse so they left that afternoon.
Amen, that was most of the stress gone for the moment.

As to the mess around the house, we will slowly work on that as the energy levels allow.

Lord thank you, for clearing my mind and giving me the strength to continue.
Thank you for your guidance and your patience, and for the fact that the rules were accepted with out to much fuss.
Lord I know that this young girl and our son, have not had any spiritual guidance before, so I ask that they would be receptive of what we have to say about their relationship , and also pray that one day they may cry out to you for your guidance, and that they may also accept you as their risen saviour.
Amen

A heartfelt prayer, and a good way to start the day. Watch for common spelling errors: roll / role and to / too. A few edits for punctuation, and this will be a tidy dialog. Thanks for sharing so freely.

A chaotic household - I can completely relate. Nicely done, but watch spelling and punctuation closely. Using 'firstly' usually asks for second, third, etc., and is usually 'first.'

The world would be so much easier to handle if it weren't for the people in it, but … thank the Lord that He is sufficient in helping us face a "peopled" world. You could have left out the "Lord's reply" in those couple of paragraphs. We would have known who was speaking and it would have made your prayer more of a dialogue with God. You're doing well.
