When we look at the old oak tree, we vision the strength of God. Nevertheless, the storm comes, and the winds blow you see the steadiness and strength of the aged tree. Yet the tree still stands tall, but has not wavered from it position. She has dug her roots deep into the ground to hold itself securely and fixed. Just like our faith is Christ, we are like the tree and Christ is the earth. We dig our roots deep, into Christ, so our faith will not falter, yet we will stay strong and secure.
As the storms come, it cleans the tree, of dead branches and leaves. Yet the rain clears the dust and dirt off the leaves making the tree look refresh; yet able to breathe. Just like us, the storms in our lives wash away, all deadness of unbelief, the leaves of pretense ness, cleaning us, and making us more like Christ. Yet Christ, takes us, cuts brokenness out of our lives, and makes us look refreshing and beautiful and prunes our lives.
At springtime, the tree gets new leafs on its branches, giving us shade. It produces many acorns, which is the seed of the tree. A new ring of age added to the trunk. Maybe a few inches added to her height. Some trees around her will have flowers, making the park peaceful, beside the babbling flowing brook. This is our own bit of Heaven on earth. Yet Christ shows us a little bit of peace that we shall inherit when we see Christ, when our time here on earth is over.
God uses the trees to make homes for His birds. Trees in the springtime and summer are full of nests. In addition, our homes made out of wood; however, it shuts out the wind, the rain, and the cold making them comfortable to live in for us. If God provides for the birds and gives rest to the birds, to rest their feet and wings, how much more would He provide for us.
It was a tree that our dear Savior was nailed to, taking a way our sins. That wooden cross, He bled and died for you and me. Now tell me, how much Christ cared for me. Christ loved me so much, that He laid His life down for me a sinner that I would have eternal life with Him in Heaven some day. Now would you like to have someone to die for you? Letting Christ, how much more can we ask for?

Your final two paragraphs seem to belong to a different--also good--devotional.
Very scripturally accurate observances; edit a bit for grammar and "flow."
