Some weak, some strong, some big, some small
Some ask if you’re not around do you hear when they fall
They give us so much yet we don’t realize
The importance in nature that they provide
We eat of their fruit, and sometimes taste of their sap
But yet we don’t acknowledge the importance of that
The lumberjack knows they put food on the table
The homes that we live in they provide to be stable
Orange, apples, and grapes call it their home
The birds build a nest in them and make them their own
The kids in school use them everyday
The pencils, the papers, the boxes thrown away
Let’s not forget the shade they provide on the hottest of days
The need for them are used in so many ways
The wind makes their limbs dance with the coolest of breeze
Can you hear what they are saying through the sound of their leaves?
Yes, they are a vital part of nature you see
They are apart of our lives and we call them the tree.
