A Matter of Words
Yesterday I googled, he said.
Do you do that often? I asked.
Oh, every day, and often many times each day, he said.
Is your breath that bad? I asked.
No, not gargled, he laughed, googled.
Oh, I replied, you saw something really amazing then.
What caused you to stare like that?
Stare? Oh, no, not ogled, googled, he responded.
Surely, you've googled before, he inquired.
Well, as a matter of fact, I did just draw one of the neatest cartoon characters on the side of my paper just now while we were talking. See, I showed him.
Not, doodled, he cried! Googled!
Oh, sure, I insisted, yesterday I saw the cutest baby and I couldn't stop the sounds of giggling coming from my throat.
No, not, giggled, googled, he groaned.
You know, when you look something up on the internet to find out what it is.
Oh, you used Google to look something up! Why didn't you just say so?

This was a fun read. I enjoyed it even if it didn't have quotation marks around what each person was saying. This did not seem to distract me in the reading.

Because each line was fairly short it was almost like reading poetry.

What ever you would call it, I enjoyed the play on word sounds.
