Daniel 6:3 “Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.”
Daniel was like any other ordinary man, but through the boldness of his faith, God gave him a spirit of excellence. He became a person of boldness, greatness and was promoted to positions in life he never thought was destined for him, but God knew what He placed on the inside of Daniel. It caused him to walk in the unmerited favour of God. He became a person who was sought after for the greatness and presence of God in his life.
The day you become a believer in Christ, you become a new creation in Him. Jesus’ blood that was shed on the cross, came and cleansed us from all our sins – past, present and future so that we can walk in the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). God now looks at us through the mirror of the cross and as Jesus is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Every attribute of Jesus is deposited into our being. We were not created to live mediocre lives but lives of excellence. God wants to use us to set the highest standards.
The Bible teaches us that we are filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit when we receive Jesus. Jesus is the source of all knowledge and no one was ever greater than Him. That same greatness is now available to us. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things in life. There is no reason why we should lack any knowledge in anything, because we have the Source thereof on the inside. When the anointing of the Holy Spirit operates in our lives, we are deposited with Godly wisdom that cannot be compared. We are promoted to positions in life we never thought possible, because that is the way of God – higher than our ways and thoughts. He makes us someone we can never become out of our own efforts.
When we allow God’s spirit of excellence to work through our lives we move into an arena of great blessings and honour. When we walk in the presence of God who works His excellence through us, we enjoy Godly success that brings no harm. It is the presence of God that makes us successful and an expert in ourselves and in whatever God works through our lives. When we pursue perfection it comes from human effort that often ends in defeat, but when we pursue excellence, we have the Spirit of God in us that brings fulfilment.
As human beings we will never arrive, as they say, but in Christ we are already in the process of walking in the great calling of God on our lives in Christ (Philippians 3:12-14). The only way to reach that place is through Christ.
The more we pursue Christ Jesus, the more we are transformed in His same image of glory. The more we are transformed into His image, the more we become like Him and portrays His expertise through the works of His Holy Spirit in every area of our lives.
As a believer in Christ, being filled with the knowledge of Christ, you have the ability to be an expert – a person of excellence in every area of your life, no matter where you might find yourself, whether it is at work, in your family, in relationships, or anywhere else. There is no reason why you cannot be great with Christ on your side. I invite you to allow Christ to work through His spirit of excellence in you, because in Him you are destined for greatness.

It is interesting what may be in store for a person who finally sees that Jesus is LORD and CHRIST. Jesus has all authority in Heaven and earth and asks us. to obey him. When we put Jesus as LORD and obey him in baptism for the forgiveness of our sins we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide us and show that we are a child of God.
Our life begins all over when we don't have sin separating us from God.
Yes, keep writing your thoughts.
This is worthy of the Master Level.
I love to read what you write, and often I have the opportunity to read but lack concentrated time to write a comment.
