Beauty is only skin deep. Every rose has its thorn. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It seems there is a negative for every positive when it comes to beauty. If God makes everything and everything God makes is beautiful; then why do we some things as being ugly?
Some dogs are better looking than others. Certain people are more beautiful than others. Some fish are more radiant. Not to God. He sees everything with the same beauty. Everything is created just the way he wanted it to be. To us, there is a difference in beauty. There is no difference to God.
We place labels on what we think is defined as beautiful. Some men think a woman with blonde hair, blue eyes and about 5’6” is perfect beauty. For others, it could be black hair, brunettes, red heads, green eyes, brown eyes, short hair, long hair, the list can go on. Prices are placed on beauty.
Only the most beautiful, according to someone else, get to become models. The average looking man or woman does not become a supermodel.
Real beauty is within though. It is in each and every one of us because God put it there. We just have to look for it. We don’t have to look as hard as we think because it is found in a walk with Christ. He will show us the true meaning of beauty, and someday, we will see the most beautiful thing that God has created. Heaven.
