for who can comprehend
a king with no beginning
a kingdom without end?
how small a vision we have of you
who formed our very lives
the artist of the universe
the painter of the skies
how powerless the words we speak
to give the glory due
the maker of the galaxies
the author of all truth
how impotent the love we give
our hearts cannot contain
a pure, untainted passion
that’s worthy of your name
how distant from your holiness
how foreign to your throne
your ways so high above our ways
your thoughts unlike our own
how desperately we need your grace
how perfect your supply
your mercies new each morning
and reaching to the skies
how weak our strength, how frail our faith
how faltering our steps
apart from the infinity
of your life-giving breath
how endlessly we’ll strive to know
yet never fully see
the answer to life’s question
the god of mysteries
(inspired by Job 26:14)

My only question is regarding the word 'god' in the last line; was that intentionally lower case, or should it have been "God"?
I truly love this beautiful poem. Well done.
