The master of the house was walking outside in the garden. He had said, after a few weeks of counseling, that if anyone wanted to venture into the house to see the rooms they were welcome to. Most everyone stayed behind at the garbage dump, too afraid to move. They didn’t want to be seen nor did they want to see beyond their mind.
Janey and Jessica couldn’t wait to get inside. They had finally found freedom from their thoughts and wanted to nourish their minds. They had been emptied of all their past and needed to be refueled so they could continue living. The stairs were winding and all the doors to the rooms were closed. They found a staircase at the back of the house that took them to the fifth floor. The door was ajar and they couldn’t refuse the invitation. Janey opened the door as wide as it would open. She charged in, with Jessica just footsteps behind.
The walls were sunny and the bookshelves were lined with toys and books from their childhood. In the corner, was another room they had been told of. You could enter this room, but if the door shut behind you, you wouldn’t be able to leave. Janey stepped in, not intending to stay, and Jessica tried to keep Janey from escaping the room. She shoved Janey, who resisted with all her might. Jessica was pushed over and Janey escaped. There was only a hole in the wall that allowed food to be transported to the prisoner inside. Janey hated such small spaces. She hated being trapped. Jessica was upset because she wanted the yellow room all to herself. Jessica hated sharing.
“Look!” Janey yelled to Jessica.
Jessica picked herself up from the floor. She smoothed her dress and curiousity got the best of her. She headed towards the toys. Janey had found dolls she use to play with when she lived at home. Some other girls had ventured in and were whispering. They didn’t like that Janey had found the dolls and noticed she had picked them up and put them back down in the wrong place. They began to plot her destruction.
“Perhaps we should leave.” Jessica coerced Janey from the books. “The master will be here soon and we don’t want him to see us.”
“Fiddlesticks! I don’t want to leave. I want to stay here the rest of my life.” Janey pleaded her case but no one heard her. She woke up. It was all just a dream. It felt so wonderful to be in that house. Janey wondered if God’s house in heaven would be like that. Full of so many rooms, but she hoped that there would be no evil there. It still left Janey feeling a bit cold to think that there were people who only wished you demise.

I was a little confused at the end. Who is the master you refer to in the beginning?
