Topic: Ow! (01/07/10)
“OW!”

I misread the heading and thought it said “OWL”! Well, I am glad it is ow!

My live has been filled with “ow” moments since I became a Christian in 1981. I believe my very first” ow !” was when I went forward to the altar call and claimed Jesus as my own and personal saviour. I had always blamed others for any faults I had. I had always believed that I was a saint although, truth to tell, I knew that I certainly was not! As to being a sinner, oh no! Not me, I did not think that faults were sins!
I had given birth to five children, one of who died after three days, so where was God? I asked at the time. I turned my back from God and when I turned back He had not moved.
I had been in an alcoholic marriage with an abusive husband and had divorced and remarried and believed that all was well with my world.
There is a moment in life when God’s grace touches us and when it happened to me it was the most wonderful experience of my life.
Believing in Jesus and the Holy bible has changed my entire life. My spirit, mind and soul have given me the “Ow! Factor and I am so blessed.

I love hearing personal testimonies! When our "ow's" come from God pricking our heart and calling us back to Him, it's always worth the pain of admiting to our sins. :) I noticed a few spelling errors, but that's no biggy. The message outways them. :) Besides, I might even have some spelling errors in this very comment. . . but I have a cold and don't feel like checking them right now. Anyway, great testimony! ;)
