Ultimately, orange represents so many things that God has created. Not more or less than any other color though.
Orange sunrises with many different shades, some bright, some as a haze. Orange sunsets, first like a flame then as the sun hides behind the horizon, fades to melon.
We welcome the sun after a period of storms. Storms on the earth, storms in our life. The sun coming out behind the cloud, makes us smile. Summer days with the bloom of orange trees. All of the many different hues of orange tropical flowers. Carrots.
The changing of seasons. Our God turns some many things all different shades of orange. I have looked out the window and seen the sun shine through the fog that hung heavily across the trees in my yard and all of the many colors of orange sparkled through the sun. The wind blows and I see orange swirl through the air. I see orange tumbled across the lawn.
God created pumpkins for Halloween, jack-o-lanterns with the orange flame showing through their carved out eyes and mouth. Pumpkins for Thanksgiving, the smell of pumpkin pie. The joy that the color brings to our lives. Orange slice candy for a kid.
God provided orange for safety, orange jumpsuits for prisoners Candle sticks that burn an orange flame, this represents God. His light in the church. We have an internal flame in each one of us, yes even the person who committed a moral sin. We as Christians need to show those people Jesus. God lives in each one of us. That flame is strong when we first become Christians. Never to go completely out. The orange flame may fade at times, but Gods never ending love for us keeps the orange fire burning. Our eternal flame.
