She felt like that her whole life, and the results of her attempt to fill up the emptiness are she became fat. This made that she became shy and did not want to be around other people. Her family made her believe that no one will love her because she was fat. She just became more and more depressed and empty.
One night she got it in her head that the world would be a better place without her in it. She staggered to the kitchen and got out a sharp vegetable knife. She sat down in the kitchen on a garbage bag she placed on the floor. No one should have to clean up her blood. The knife slid over the one wrist and the artery burst open with blood streaming down her hand.
She could feel that she was starting to loos consciousness as she was there one moment and then gone the next. She could feel a coldness creeping up her legs and she knew death was approaching. And then she was gone…into a blissful nothingness.
She opened her eyes to a bright light.
“Where am I?” The thought crossed her mind
She tries to open her eyes again but only see the sharp light and tries focus better. She realizes that she is in a hospital bed. She turns her head to see an unfamiliar man sitting next to her bed. She wants to ask him who he is but only a raw sound comes from her and she notes that she has tubes running in and out of her.
The noise waked the man and a pair of light blue eyes looked back at her. A warm smile touched the corners of his lips.
“ Hi there. You gave me a big fright.”
She frowned at him and his smile became even broader.
“Sorry, you do not know me. But before we go into that let me call the doctor first.”
After the doctor examined her and removed the tubes she sat up and looked at the man that was still sitting at her side. He probably noticed the big question mark on her face and started to explain everything to her.
“ I was actually jogging past your house a few nights back. I live just down the block from you. And while I was jogging I got this feeling that the time is right to introduce myself to you. I have seen you when you went walking with your dog or worked in your garden and I wanted to meet you. But could never find the right time to do so. Any way I went to your door but no one answered the door when I rang the bell. I knew you were there; so I went around your house and saw you lying on the kitchen floor. I had to brake the window, sorry, to get to you and you where already far gone. I phoned the ambulance and they rushed you to hospital. And here I waited every day the past week for you to wake up. But I would like to know why?”
She took a sip of water before she spoke. “I wanted to get rid of the emptiness and the world will not miss me.”
He shook his head in disbelief. “ Are you a Christian?”
Outrage she said: “ Yes, I am!”
He smiled; “May I pray for you today”
She just nodded and closed her eyes. As his words filled the room she could feel the emptiness disappear and be replaced by a fullness of happiness, love and joy. Tears ran down her face and as she opened her eyes the light blue eyes were right next to her. Looking at her like no man has ever done.
You will never be lonely or empty again. God have placed us together for a reason and you still have work to do here. Take my hand and we will do it together.
As there hands joined she knew that she would never be as happy or full as she is at that moment. But she will never be empty again.

I was glad there was a happy ending. Keep grammar and punctuation in mind and keep polishing. ;)
