Throughout the heartland of America, we have witnessed the kind acts of those who care about others. From the volunteer relief effort for Hurricane Katrina to the determination of those trying to save others from a burning building on 9/11. The depths upon which people will go to lend a helpful hand to those in need are endless.
However, there is also a dark side to the human condition. One that has also been witnessed time and time again, and knows no bounds or limitations. From the beating, torture, and ultimate crucifixion of an innocent man to the termination of six million Jewish citizens. Mankind has bread some whose thirst for human blood can never be satisfied.
However, as difficult as it may be to come to grips with such a blatant lack of compassion, the war between good and bad is necessary for they’re to be balance in the world. For if it were not for the evil of man, the good would not have a chance to flourish and grow. Hopefully in time we will witness the culmination of this battle, and live in a place where mankind no longer has the option. Where good will reign supreme and where bad will cease to exist.
