“Oh God, where are you?”
“My child, I am here, take my hand.”
At that time I think, “If I can hold God’s hand, I will surely come up.” During the down times I learn, and after they are over I am stronger in body, mind and spirit.
God is my strength through health and illness. I Praise God in times of good health! For times of good health help me to continue my God given tasks and I am thankful for small miracles.
I also praise God in my illness, emotional and physical. “This too shall pass”. The emotional anguish brings new faith as well as God’s strength for things to come. The physical pain and abnormalities strengthen my hold on the powers of God. It all helps me gain knowledge of the imperfection of humans, and emphasizes the fact that God is my strength.
Through the storms of life I have found God is also my refuge. He is a shelter from all the turmoil. He is an eagle that follows me wherever I go, ready to swoop down and pick me up to soar above it all. In all the ups and downs of life God is my only strength and my greatest refuge!

Be careful of ixed metaphors--in the last paragraph, you have God being both a shelter and an eagle.
This was a very lovely little devotional, like a morning psalm.
