For 18 years her eyes were cast
Downwards, in helpless plight.
Body and spirit both held fast
In Satan’s bondage, tight.
The glistening trees, the pearly sky
Were not for her to see.
The dusty ground, feet passing by,
Her forced reality.
But still she shuffled, bent in two,
To worship God above.
In synagogue maybe her view
Could see the Lord of love.
Then came one life-transforming day
She heard the kindest voice,
Call out to her in such a way
That made her heart rejoice.
She felt His hands, she heard Him speak
With love’s authority.
These words reached to her body weak
‘Dear Woman, You’re set free.’
Immediately, she straightened tall
And looked into the face
Of Jesus Christ, the Lord of all -
O What amazing grace!
Her heart and voice were filled with praise
To Him who’d set her free.
She’d praise Him throughout all her days
Then for eternity.
Our sin deforms and bends us low
In dark depravity.
Our Saviour calls – O to Him go
And know He’s set you free.
Look up, with childlike trust each day,
Look up, know more His love,
Look up, He’ll lead you all the way
To glorious Heaven above.

I'd urge you to resist the over-used rhyme of 'love' and 'above'--it's ubiquitous in Christian poetry. You're an excellent poet--reach beyond the usual!
This is one of the best poems I've read this week.
