They’re funny things these passports. Not everybody gets one. You have to apply & pay for them. Then you have to wait to see if you’ve been “Okayed”. Even then, you’re not out of the woods. On a recent trip to the Philippines, my passport was checked and rechecked. Even when it was confirmed that I WAS who I SAID I was, I was screened and scanned and searched.
I’m not complaining mind you. Security has it’s place.
I’m just glad that when you get a passport to heaven, you’re not subjected to the same thing.
Let’s say that you’ve obeyed the Gospel. You’ve done it from the heart. Then you go to meet your Maker.
On the first stop a guy who identifies himself as “Michael”, ( Security Agent for Heavenly Airlines) stops you. “Sir, I’ll have to ask you to remove your “belt of truth and your breastplate of righteousness” so that we can make sure that you are who you say you are”. Some other guy who identifies himself as “Nicodemus”, (Heavens Gate Director of Earthly Affairs) adds “You’ll have to lose the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation too. They’re not going to scan. Please step out of your shoes of righteousness and place your sword of the spirit on the conveyer belt.”
Suddenly a quiet voice from the background speaks. “It’s OK guys...He’s one of us. Look at his passport”.
The passport is completely stained in blood.
“Well done good and faithful servant...Come and share your Masters happiness.”
They’re funny things these passports. Not everybody gets one.
But all are invited.
