She holds her cup out for anyone one to fill.
It's so simple, dear, just kiss me and I will..
Give you my heart, my soul, my body..it's true.
All I am looking for is an "I Love You."
Am I pretty enough? Do you like what I do?
Just wait! I'll change until I please you through and through.
I rocked your world today (full of spice, yet so demure).
But you barely acknowledge me the next day-must be a reason...but I'll just ignore...
The way it makes me feel-unworthy and unsure.
Strange..it feels like I have been to this place before!?
Do I seek it out? Is it a destination I shall always endure?
Do my frustrations make me paranoid-of this fact I am sure!
Resurrection is a revival, a resurgence, a rebirth.
But what life does one hope for if you've no idea of your worth?
Who am I? What is life? A rollercoaster, a maze, a game?
I want to come to the feet of a man who is always glad I came..
To see what it is to truly live, to be filled by something more.
To put to death this life of pathetic chaos.
I am shaken to my core.
But wait she follows me, even after the dawn of this new life.
Through years of learning, maturing, and even now-as a wife.
Where is this place I will get to where she can no longer casts her shadow over me..
I know I must put her to death many times-day after day- inevitably.
Always conscious of this muse, I stand awakened now:
He is the resurrection and the life-the like there is nowhere.
I will explain to her time and time again..
("They say life isn't fair..")
She must resign to the truth!
To Him, she will never compare.
